3 cups raw potatoes, grated and well drained

1/4 cup onion, grated

3 tablespoons flour

1-1/4 teaspoons salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

2 eggs, slightly beaten

3 tablespoons margarine

Combine potatoes, onion, flour, salt, pepper, nutmeg and eggs, mix well. Heat small amount of margarine in a skillet over moderate heat. Spoon 1/4 cup potato mixture into skillet for each pancake. Spread carefully. Cook until browned on both sides, turning once, approximately 8-10 minutes.
